Mother of GOD!!!!!! I can’t contain my suprise and shock that you scored this! MeMe R is the bain of P.S. 9 and destroyer of cupcakes on your birthday. This is amazing! I listened all the way through (I was on twitter when I found it) and thought you did a great job. She is a bit unpleasant isn’t she?
Oh, so that’s who all the mystery was about.
Why on earth would you want to spend time with her? Why on earth would anyone want to hear the two of you argue? It would have to be some pretty awesome hubris to think you could change her mind about anything, seeing as her entire career rides on her bigotry. And her views aren’t exactly going to provide any of us with enlightenment.
But it did go to Jezebel, and might provide a nice contrast between the anti-fat and FA points of view there, so I guess I’ll just wish you good coat-tail surfing, but I ain’t gonna listen myself.

I’m with you. I listened to it a few times to make the annotated notes and I really cringe to hear myself getting all ginned up. But my goal was not to change her mind, but to discredit the MeMe Roth brand by confronting her bigotry and misinformation straight on, rather than through an intermediary.
If you want, I can chop it down to some fun highlights. There are some great pieces that are worth hearing.
